The Transformers

Who are the people who inspire the world to change?
This one hour TV interview show answers that question,
one transformer at a time.

Similar in tone and format to “Inside the Actor’s Studio”
“The Transformers” takes our generation’s inspirational speakers and authors, such as Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, David Hawkins, Richard Moss, Sonia Choquette, Gregg Braden, Caroline Myss and Deepak Chopra, and allows them to explore the roots and evolution of their lives and thoughts.

(Bottom line: Who are they and how’d they get that way?)

“The Transformers” would take on a different tone every week, depending on who was being interviewed, but the idea would be to find reasons to laugh, to think, and to connect. In the process, we will capture for posterity, the great spiritual thinkers of our time.

Hosted by Joan Steffend, a national Emmy award-winning journalist, TV host, and spiritual seeker, the show would be taped before a studio audience. The conversation would largely be one-on-one, with later involvement from the audience. The interview itself would be supported by photos and video.

The stage presentation would be simple — with words and faces taking the spotlight, and the sense of quality coming through well-crafted lighting and high definition video.

With this format, the television show could easily be transformed into a radio show, repurposed to the Internet, and repackaged for use by
“The Transformers” themselves.
